Welcome Reception
The Welcome Reception will take place at the beautiful Palace of the Marquis of Pombal, classified as national monument and designed by Carlos Mardel, a renowned Hungarian architect who played a major role in the “pombaline” reconstruction of Lisbon, following the earthquake of 1755.
Delegates will have the opportunity to visit the palace wine cellar and taste four of the best Portuguese wines grown in this region.

Conference Dinner
The Conference Dinner will take place at Vila Galé Collection Palácio dos Arcos. Built in the late fifteenth century and rebuilt three centuries later, history says that it was from the balconies of Palácio dos Arcos [literally, Palace of the Arches] that King Manuel I watched the caravels leaving on their way to India.
Used to welcoming royalty – who stayed in this palace to attend the famous regattas on the Tagus River – Vila Galé Collection Palácio dos Arcos is the first five-star unit of the Vila Galé group in Portugal.
Delegates will have the chance to network as they enjoy a delicious meal, full of the best of Portuguese flavours. This evening will be sure to be a memorable event not to be missed!
